Generally wikis and blogs can share much of the same information by the same or different sources. This make it difficult for people to see the difference between the two. One major difference is that wikis are typically encyclopedias that contain information that will not be irrelevant or inaccurate quickly. In contrast, blogs are used to provide in the moment updates and very new information. Blogs are usually forgotten once they have been taken off a home blog page.
